Services for groundwater flow and solute transport
Gylling GeoSolutions is providing services in the fields of groundwater flow and solute transport to support safety assessments, site investigations, design, and coordination of scientific projects since April 2018, built on long experiences from these areas.

Areas of Practice
Modeling
The services in the field of modeling of groundwater flow and solute transport are built on experiences of using tools such as:
ConnectFlow (enables separate or hybrid porous media and DFN models)
CHAN3D (a channel network model for flow and transport simulations)
DarcyTools (an efficient hydrogeological tool with transport capabilities)
PFLOTRAN (a powerful subsurface flow and reactive transport code)
MARFA (Migration Analysis for Radionuclides in the FAr field)
COMP23 and FARF31 (tools for near and far field transport, respectively).
reactive transport
Also, the modeling experiences include tools for reactive transport:
ConnectFlow (including PhreeqC module and DFN capability)
PFLOTRAN (a powerful subsurface flow and reactive transport code)
iDP (combined tool including DarcyTools and PFLOTRAN)
iCP (COMSOL including PhreeqC module and DFN capability)
project management
Based on previous experiences, the following can be provided:
Leading or assisting role in projects e.g. related to safety assessment, site investigations, and design.
Technical secretary
Planning and organization
Coordination and communication.
Documentation (e.g. reporting, writing scientific papers, minutes)
advice, reporting & review
In addition, the following can be offered:
Participation in review boards
Factual review of reports on groundwater flow and solute transport
General review of technical reports
Assistance and advice for reporting
Quality control of reports
Linguistic check and review
Translations of technical documents (English - Swedish)
